About
Eamon Lorincz is a commercial real estate attorney who advises owners, developers, investors, family offices, public agencies and real estate businesses on complex transactions and development matters.
His practice is focused on commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, development, joint ventures, financing, construction, public-private partnerships, mixed-income housing and the commercial contracts that support real estate ownership and operations.
Before launching his practice, Eamon served as Senior Vice President and transactional counsel for Brookfield's commercial development arm, where he was lead development counsel for Brookfield's Washington, DC region, including the continued buildout of The Yards, a 42-acre riverfront neighborhood in Washington, DC.
Earlier in his career, Eamon worked on public-private and mixed-income housing transactions with the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County. His background also includes private practice at Ropes & Gray LLP and Klein Hornig LLP.
Based in the Washington, DC region, Eamon has worked on transactions and development projects across the country. This breadth of experience, across institutional owner/developer, public agency and private practice settings, allows him to spot issues early, coordinate effectively with specialists and help clients navigate the practical tradeoffs that arise on complex real estate projects.

Substantial experience with public-private real estate transactions, mixed-income housing and projects involving federal, state and local agencies, including ground leases, development agreements, tax-exempt bond and LIHTC financing structures, PILOTs and affordable housing requirements.
Counsel on the commercial contracts that support real estate development, ownership and operations, including construction contracts, architect and consultant agreements, ground leases, property management agreements, commercial leases, easements, REAs and related operating documents.
